On January 15, international students from our university were invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Seventh Jinzhou Marine Ice and Snow Cultural Festival and National Ice and Snow Sports Season Ice Dragon Boat Super League (Jinzhou Station). 65 international students from Morocco, Russia, Nigeria, Botswana and other countries participated in this activity.
As soon as they entered the ski resort, the students were attracted by the snow. For many students, this was their first experience of ice and snow sports. Walking in the snow, everyone was excited. Before the opening ceremony, the host invited the international students to experience the Northeast handkerchief dance. The students followed the rhythm of the Northeast Yangko, holding a handkerchief and dancing, and experiencing the folk culture of the Northeast Yangko. After the opening ceremony, the students experienced the ice and snow culture of Jinzhou by skiing, alpine snow circle, snow wheel and other events, and fully felt the charm of ice and snow sports, the natural scenery of ice and snow, and the happiness of ice and snow sports.
This "Ice and Snow Culture" experience activity let the international students feel the concept of "ice and snow is also mountains of gold and silver". The students felt the multi-faceted Northeast culture.
